Anna Hursey is a 13-year old British female table tennis prodigy currently ranked No. 1 in Wales for Under 15s and No. 2 for Seniors.
She is a Young Champion of the UNFCCC Sports for Climate Action Framework.
Born in Carmarthen to British and Chinese parents, Anna is the youngest athlete ever to compete in the Commonwealth Games at senior level – representing Wales at the Gold Coast 2018 when she was just 11!
Schoolgirl Anna made the world sit up and take notice when she won her opening game at the prestigious competition on Australia’s Gold Coast reaching the quarter-finals of the team event.
Anna’s ambition is to become the world’s number 1 female player and win medals at the Birmingham 2022 Commonwealth Games and the Paris 2024 Summer Olympics.
